This project develops a data-based manufacturing execution system software suite (MES-Suite) for management and control in process industries. This software suite is on the basis of the standard MES infrastructure. It contains several patent technologies: multi-resolution modeling theory, event-based dynamic material-flow modeling method, data reconciliation and data visualization. Now MES-Suite has been applied in more than 30 petrochemical, chemical and steel corporations. It helps these corporations to reach the targets in process optimization, energy conservation, pollution reduction and quality improvement. So far this project has applied for 5 patents and obtained 6 software copyrights.
