On the morning of September 6，Liu Xu ,the director of the FIT, received the Delegation from the National University of Singapore ,including Prof. Quek Ser Tong, the vice-president of Faculty of Engineering， Prof. Tang Loon Ching, the director of the Manufacture and System Engineering and Prof. Loh Wai Lam of the Mechanical Engineering at the second Conference room of the Administration Building, Yuquan Campus. Prof. Liu Xu and Prof. Quek Ser Tong introduced the basic information of Faculty of Information Technology, Zhejiang University and Faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore respectively. They discussed the issues of interest, such as the discipline competition between students and the exchange visits of teachers. Prof. He Qinming, the vice-director of FIT, discussed the basic condition on the student exchanges and cooperation with Prof. Quek Ser Tong. Both sides hoped to enhance exchange and cooperation in the future.
In the afternoon, the guests gave a report, named “Introduction of academic research from Faculty of Engineering of National University of Singapore”, in Room 301, the Third Teaching Building. Almost 80 students attended the conference and communicated well with the visitors in the fields they are interested of.
