2010 York-Zhejiang Advanced Workshop on Cognitive Communications, which is hosted by York-Zhejiang Cognitive Network and Green Communications Laboratory and is supported by RCUK and WUN, was convoked smoothly on Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University (ZJU).
Many famous scholars in the wireless communication and network techniques fields at home and abroad attended this advanced workshop, including the related experts from University of York, University College London, King’s College London and British Telecom (BT). The active scholars in this new field from Zhejiang University, Peking University, Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiaotong University Served as lecturer in China. This advanced workshop gathered master, doctor, post doctor and young teachers totally 35 persons. And all the members spoke in English when they taught and discussed with each other. The workshop not only raised the research ability of the students from domestic and overseas, but also enhanced the ZJU’s international teaching level and influence in Cognitive Communications.
