2010 York-Zhejiang Adwanced Workshop on Cognitive Communications ended successfully on October 31.
During the period, all lecturers and students discussed the Cognitive Communications deeply in interactive way. They talked about the background, development, essential characteristic and applications in details with various ways such as lecturing, group discussion, the special report, digital simulation, enterprise visit, procedures contest and so on. The contest links was more effective. The topic is how to use Reinforcement Learning Method for Cognitive Communications to design and program dynamic spectrum access and the distribution solution. The united team, which is composed of Nanjing University, PLA University and Zhejiang University, won the Best Program Prize. The Best Person Prize was granted Doctor Boris Oklander from Israel Institute of Technology. All lecturers and students was especially organized to visit Huawei Hangzhou Institution and had a heated discussion with the supervisors and technicist.
