On November 16-20, Prof. Rong Gang, Shen Jizhong, associate professor Zhou Lifang together with 4 postgraduates Nan Shan, Zhao Shuangshuang, Shi Jinhe and Tong Kailiang went to Japan for attending the 4th IPS International Collaboration Symposium 2010 held by Waseda University. More than 70 teachers and students who came from 13 universities such as Waseda University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, UK Cranfield and so on attended the meeting.
During the conference, Rong Gang, Shen Jizhong and Shi Jinhe gave reports about “Enterprise-Wide Optimization in Process Industry” , “EEG Feature Extraction and Classification” and “Feature extraction and classification of four-class motor imagery EEG Data” respectively. and discussed with other delegates well. Nan Shan, Zhao Shuangshuang and Tong Kailiang showed their own research results in the form of wall paper and communicated with the delegates who were interested of the research. By voting, Nan Shan won the Best Poster Award.
