On the morning of December 1st, Prof. Guo Shuwen, a senior chief engineer from American Goodrich Company, gave a keynote report under the title of “the development and application of the high-performance MEMS inertial sensor technology”. The related professors from college of Electrical Engineering, college of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Internet of Things Industries Union attended the meeting. Liu Xu, the director of the FIT, hosted the symposium.
Prof. Guo summarized the fabrication technology of the MEMS inertial sensor and its application range, firstly,. Then, he mainly introduced the application in four fields including seismometry, inertia measurement, measurement of the inclination angle and vibration measurement. In an addition, he also showed development situation of the international high-performance MEMS acceleration sensor and its global market distribution.
The lecture atmosphere is very active and the participants discussed positively. Prof. Liu Xu thought that the report of Prof. Guo was very wonderful. the comprehensive analysis of the international market has the guarding meaning to the further research. After the meeting, Prof. Jin Zhonghe and Prof. Fu Xin, who are engaged in the research of acceleration sensor, communicated deeply with Prof. Guo.
