2011 FIT graduation and degree ceremony for spring graduate student was held at Yongqian action center in Yuquan Campus on March 25. Prof. Chu Jian, the vice present of ZJU attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided by Prof. Bao Hujun, the vice director of FIT. The attendees are consisted of the leaders of departments, professors, 39 doctors, 647 graduate students and parents of some students.
Prof. Liu Xu, the director of FIT, gave the graduate students best wishes and great honor for their contribution to the development of information discipline in ZJU firstly. Then, Prof. Chu Jian, the vice present of ZJU, read out the decision of reward to 2011 outstanding graduate, awarded the certificate to the representations of the outstanding graduate.Shao Xumin, graduate student from Dept. of Control Science and Engineering, expressed the greatest respects and thanks to the presents and teachers representing all the graduates. All the memory about the school will be in graduates’ heart forever. Prof. Du Yiping from College of Biomedical Engineering & Instrument Science gave a speech as the supervisors’ representative. He gave the graduates presents——truth and contribution. Prof. Du’s words made the students know more about the essence of ZJU’s motto.
