On the morning of July 7, the vice Present of Chongqing University Huang Zongming visited FIT with his delegation. The meeting was chaired by the director of FIT Liu Xu. The vice director Bao Hujun, the Vice dean of Technology Research Institute Xia Wenli together with other leaders from different departments attended the meeting. They discussed the different aspects about information science, such as organization and management mode, main orientation and characteristic, basic scale and research ability, building of scientific platform and so on.
Bao Hujun introduced the organization structure, discipline construction, research area and achievement of FIT. Prof. Liu Xu pointed out that young teachers should be strong confident for the development of discipline, improving the management efficiency and the Professors' Academic Governance are the key for the school management. Both sides exchanged views about the training of young teachers and operating modes.
After the meeting, Huang Zongming and others went to Dept. of Control Science and Engineering for a visit of the state key laboratory of industrial control technology. The Haibao Robot and Ping-pong Robot impressed the visitors deeply. Then, the guests visited the Dept. of Optical Engineering. The research achievements and research team of FIT were highly evaluated by guests.
