On the afternoon of March 28, 2012, the FIT Young Teacher Forum, on the subject of “Information Security”, was held in the Third Meeting Room of Administration Building at Yuquan Campus. Post-doctor Wang Bin, from Prof. Wu Chunming’s team of College of Computer Science and Technology, was specially invited to give a report. Prof. Bao Hunjun, the Vice Director of FIT, presided at the meeting. Chen Huifang from Dept. of Information Science and Electronic Engineering and Li Jijun from College of Computer Science and Technology served as the executive chairmen. More than 20 teachers who are engaged in information security took part in this activity.
At first, Prof. Bao introduced of the activities and measures of Young Teacher Forum in this term and emphasized the importance of academic atmosphere. Then, Teacher Wang Bin stated four aspects of network information Security in detail, including research contents of network information security, state of development, research work of their team and assumption for future. Hu Haoji from Dept. of Information Science and Electronic Engineering introduced his research progresses in digital watermarking technology. In the end, attendants deeply discussed of the questions in the area of information security. Teacher Bao was glad that Wu Chunming’s Team has already done research in system security, and he gave critical suggestions to the other teachers’ research aspects.
Some young teachers from Dept. of Ocean Science and Engineering participated in the Forum. They also hope to take part in the related activities for the purpose of enhancing exchanges and cooperation.
