In mid August 2015, Professor Lee Erping, who obtained the national Program of High-Level Overseas Talents, Deputy Director of the Faculty of Information and Technology, Zhejiang University, was honored with the 2015 Richard Stoddard Award by the American Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for his outstanding contribution to the fields of Electromagnetic Compatibility, High-Speed Electronics and Three-Dimensional Integrated Circuit. He was the first Chinese scholar to receive the award and the award ceremony was held in Germany by IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility - EMC 2015.
The Richard R. Stoddard Award, founded in 1979, is the top award of the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society. It honors only one eminent scientist or engineer globally in the field of radio frequency and electromagnetic compatibility.
