On March 17, 2017, FIT held the 2018 annual work conference to sum up the work in 2017 and plan the schedule of 2018.
The Academic Committee conducted the re-election. Academician Pan Yunhe, Academician Sun Youxian, Academician Chen Chun and other senior professors were joined the new academic committee. Young talents(Ren Kui, Wu Yingcai, Sha Wei, etc.)joined the Academic Exchange and Cooperation Committee.
Dean Bao Hujun reviewed comprehensively the work of the past year from three aspects, including planning advice, assessment incentives and academic culture. He summed up the achievements in the talent team and scientific research progress and put forward the work proposal for 2018 in the context of the new era, including the development plan of cross-convergence, the reform of the talent evaluation mechanism, and the enhancement of international cooperation influence. He encouraged all colleges to be effective in the construction of disciplines, and to enhance their competitiveness.
