On May 23rd, China Laser Magazine published the 2021 Top Ten Breakthroughs in Chinese Optics. The team and collaborators of Prof. Tong Limin and Associate Prof. Guo Xin from COSE discovered elastic ice single crystal micro/nano fibers, which was selected as one of the top ten breakthroughs in optics in China in 2021 - basic research. Researcher Ma Yaoguang's team designed a passive cooling optical metamaterial fabric based on a morphological hierarchical structure and was selected as one of the top ten breakthroughs in optics in China in 2021 - Application Research.
