On September 28, 2022, the Asian Graphical Society announced its two awards for the 2022 year on its official website. Among them, Prof. Zhou Kun from CCST won the Outstanding Technical Contributions Award, which is awarded annually to individuals who have achieved outstanding technical achievements in the field of computer graphics. Prof. Zhou Kun has been engaged in computer graphics research for more than 20 years, publishing over 70 ACM SIGGRAPH/TOG papers, and 30 IEEE TVCG papers. He has made outstanding contributions to geometric modeling, GPU parallel computing, real-time rendering, and virtual digital human technology.
