The 17th FIT Forum - a high-end forum on the frontier development of disciplines of FIT, was held On June 9th, which lasted for one day. Academician Pan Yunhe,Academician Zheng Nanning,Academician Zhang Ping and other 4 senior experts in the field of information technology attended the forum, sharing their unique thinking, anchoring the cross-integration of disciplines, and jointly seeking the development of information disciplines. More than 120 scholars participated in the forum.
Prof.Chen Chun, chairman of the forum, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of FIT, emphasized the importance of trinity to accelerate the construction of information disciplines. Starting from the characteristics of the discipline, the guest reports of the forum were wonderful and inspiring., which include highlighting crossover and opportunity synergy from AI technology; introducing the concept of embodied intelligence to explore and realize the human-like behavior of machines; building an intelligent network under semantic communication from computing power to computing power network; using thin, soft and transparent flexible electronics to intersect manufacturing Fusion; thinking about the five-sense intelligence of visual sensors; thinking about building a dedicated model for vertical fields and exploring the realization of wide-area collaborative video control.
The 2022 Getui Youth Innovation Award Ceremony of FIT was held at the same time. Prof.Li Erping,Prof.Qiu Jianrong, both vice dean of FIT and Fang Yi, CEO of Daily Interactive (Getui), presented awards to three winners of the Youth Innovation Award, and Associate Prof.Qu Wanyuan made a representative speech.
